Resources and outreach

  • All-Ireland Chromatin Consortium

The All-Ireland Chromatin Consortium was established in 2021 to foster collaborations between researchers located across the whole of Ireland, promote scientific exchange, and to facilitate networking between students, postdocs, and PIs working in the field of chromatin biology.

The scientific focus of the consortium is broad, and we intend to bridge basic, applied, and translational chromatin research, including transcriptional regulation, chromatin folding and DNA methylation.

  • Addgene deposited plasmids

You can find a number of plasmids from Dr. Conways PhD work at this link, available through the non-profit plasmid repository addgene.

    More plasmids coming soon!

  • Dr. Conway Seminar at SJH

Seminar titled ‘Oncogenic Dysregulation of Histone H2A Ubiquitination Regulates Global Chromatin Condensation’ presented by Dr. Conway on 10th of November 2021. This was presented as part of the haematology seminar series at St. James Hospital, Dublin.

  • Science Week Q&A

As part of Science Week 2021 Dr. Conway and Dr. Aisling Coughlan took part in a virtual Q&A with primary school students from St. Andrews National School in Curragha Co. Meath. This is an example of some of the science outreach in which the lab is involved.
